The atrocities covered include damage or loss of property, grievous hurt, temporary/permanent incapacitation, murder, death, rape, gang rape, kidnapping, outrage of modesty, and similar offenses, provided an FIR is registered under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities (PoA) Act, 1989. The relief amount is determined based on the norms prescribed in Annexure-I of the SC/ST(PoA) Rules, 1995.
