The “Pension Plan” is a social security initiative implemented by the Meghalaya Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Meghalaya. Under this scheme, a registered building worker who has worked for at least one year after the commencement of these rules becomes eligible for pension benefits upon attaining the age of 60 years. The pension becomes payable from the month succeeding the one in which the worker completes 60 years of age.

For New Worker Registration (Online)

Registration on Portal:
- Visit: https://megbocwwb.gov.in/bocw_services/login.htm
- Click on the ‘Worker’ button on the home page and create a new account by entering all mandatory details.
- Click ‘Register’. A “Registered Successfully” message will appear upon successful registration.

New Registration under MBOCWWB:
- Login using your User ID (registered mobile number) and password.
- Click on ‘Apply for New Registration’ from the menu.
- Fill in personal, service/work, bank, and demographic details.
- Submit the form and proceed to manage Family & Nominee Details by clicking ‘Add New’.
- Upload all required enclosures (photograph, ID proof, employer certificate/self-certification, bank passbook, etc.).
- Click on the ‘Complete’ button. Once verified by Block/District LDA, Labour Inspector, and approved by the District Labour Commissioner, a Registration Certificate will be generated.
For Welfare Pension Application (Online)
- Login to the portal at https://megbocwwb.gov.in/bocw_services/login.htm using your User ID and password.
- Click on the “Welfare Pension” scheme from the Dashboard.
- Fill in all the required information and attach the necessary documents.
- Click ‘Submit’ to apply for pension benefits.

- Click on ‘Track Application Status’ from the menu.
- View your application details and history. (Note: Once the application is under process or processed, it cannot be updated.)

- Age Proof (e.g., School Certificate, Certificate from Registrar of Birth and Deaths, Medical Certificate from an Assistant Surgeon or higher in Government Service, Electoral Photo Identity Card).
