    • The beneficiary can choose to reinvest the amount in any bank deposit plan at prevailing rates.
  • Additional Conditions:

    • No partial withdrawals or foreclosures are permitted in either phase.
    • Nomination facility is not applicable.
    • In case of the unfortunate death of the girl child, the account is immediately closed and the balance, along with accrued interest, reverts to the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh.
    • A ‘life certificate’ must be furnished every three years by a gazetted officer or the principal of the school/college where the girl is enrolled.
