This scheme is designed to empower Scheduled Caste widows/girls/destitute women and those from the Backward Class by enabling them to become self-employed through tailoring training. Under the scheme, trainees receive a monthly stipend of ₹600 and an additional ₹300 for raw materials. Upon successful completion of a one-year course, each beneficiary is provided with a new sewing machine free of cost to kick-start their livelihood. Training centers at each community center are structured to train 20 beneficiaries from the SC community and 5 from the BC community.
