The purpose of the Scheme for Grant of Financial Assistance for Administering Road Safety Advocacy and Awards for Outstanding Work in Road Safety are to create awareness about road safety, promote innovative campaigns, and recognize exemplary efforts in road safety. This is in accordance with the National Road Safety Policy towards achieving education, advocacy, and initiatives that contribute to the reduction of road traffic accidents and fatalities.
FAME 11 — This scheme provides financial assistance by way of grant-in-aid to NGOs, Trusts, Cooperative Societies, Firms and Academic Institutions for undertaking various road safety advocacy programs. An awards program to recognize those individuals and organizations who are making a real difference in this space is also included.

- No history of blacklisting or debarment by any State/Central Government.
- Joint Ventures (JV):
- Maximum of two members allowed.
- Lead member must be identified and agree to terms jointly and severally.

- Assistance will not exceed double the maximum value of any project executed by the applicant agency in the last 3 years.
