This scheme provides financial assistance to registered construction workers or their two children for the purchase of tool kits. To be eligible, beneficiaries must submit a successful course/trade completion certificate from a Government Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Training Centre.

Application Process
The application process comprises two parts: Registration and Skill Development Assistance application.
1. Portal Registration Process
- Visit the Portal:
Go to https://serviceonline.gov.in/. - Register:
Click on “Register” on the homepage and fill in all mandatory details. - Submit and Validate:
Click on “Submit” and validate your Email ID and Mobile Number using the OTP received. - Registration Confirmation:
Once validated, you will be registered on the portal.
2. Registration Under A&N Islands Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board
- Login:
Use your registered Email ID, enter your password and captcha, then click “Login.” - Apply for Services:
Click on “Apply for Services” and then “View all Available Services.” - Registration Form:
Search for “Registration of Construction Workers in AN BOCWWB” and proceed with the registration process. - Complete Form:
Fill in all mandatory details, upload the required documents, preview the form, and click “Submit.” - Receive Registration ID:
A registration ID will be issued upon successful registration.
3. Application for Skill Development Assistance
- Login Again:
Log in using your registered Email ID. - Access Services:
Click on “Apply for Services” and then “View all Available Services.” - Find the Scheme:
Search for “Skill Development Financial Assistance” and select the scheme. - Complete Application:
Fill in the mandatory details, upload all required documents, preview, and submit the application.
4. Application Tracking
- Track Status:
Visit the online portal and log in with your User ID and Password. - View Application Status:
Click on “View Application Status” then “Track Application Status.” - Enter Reference Number:
Input your Application Reference Number and click “Get Data” to view your application status.
