The Palanhar Yojana is an initiative by the Government of Rajasthan designed to support the upbringing and education of orphan children or those whose parents have passed away. Unlike institutional care, this scheme ensures that these children are brought up in a family environment with the help of a foster guardian—usually a close relative or acquaintance. The government provides essential support including education, food, clothing, and other necessary facilities, along with monthly financial assistance to promote the overall economic, social, and educational development of the child.
