Launched by the Tourism Department of the Government of Haryana on 12th July 2016, the Sindhu Dharshan Yatra Scheme 2016 provides financial assistance to pilgrims from Haryana who complete the Sindhu Darshan Yatra. This scheme is designed to support eligible pilgrims by reimbursing a portion of their travel expenses.
Benefits
- Financial Assistance:
- Up to ₹10,000/- per person or 50% of the actual expenditure (whichever is lower).
- Coverage Limit:
- Assistance is provided to a maximum of 50 pilgrims.
- One-Time Benefit:
- Each pilgrim is eligible for the benefit only once.
Eligibility Criteria
- Residency:
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana. - Yatra Completion:
The pilgrim must complete the Yatra through a recognized State/Central Government/Society channel and submit the Yatra Completion Certificate. - Single Benefit:
Financial assistance is granted only once per pilgrim.
Application Process
Steps to Apply:
- Submission Timing:
- Apply within two months after completing the Sindhu Darshan Yatra.
- Application Form:
- Use the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) and submit the form along with the required documents to the Director of the Tourism Department, Haryana.
- Document Scrutiny:
- The Director will verify the documents received from the relevant government body or society and submit them within 15 days to the Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department for approval.
- Sanction & Payment:
- Upon approval, the financial assistance is sanctioned and paid via a Demand Draft.
Apply for Scheme: Registration Process on Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:
Step 01: To avail of the benefits of the scheme, the applicant needs to visit Official Portal –Antyodaya-SARAL Portal
Step 02: If the applicant is not registered on the portal, then he/she gets registered on the portal.
Step 03: For registration, click on “New User/Register Here” and fill in all the mandatory details i.e. Name, Email ID, Mobile Number & password. Click on ‘Submit’.
Step 04: Applicant will receive the login ID on their mobile number.
Login to Apply for the Scheme:
Step 02: The “Sign in here” option is available on the right side of the screen. Applicant needs to fill in their credentials and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 03: In the opened window, click on “Scheme/Services list” and a list of schemes will appear on the screen.
Step 04: Now, select the scheme and click on “Apply for Service/Scheme”.
Step 05: Fill in all the details asked in the online application form and submit the application form.
