Eligibility Criteria
- Employment:
- The worker must be employed in an establishment registered under the Factories Act, 1948.
- The worker must have completed at least six months of continuous service in the establishment/factory and be in service at the time of application.
- Salary:
- The worker’s monthly salary (basic salary + dearness allowance) should not exceed ₹15,000/-.
- Family Inclusion:
- The benefit covers the worker and his dependents. Dependents include:
- Wife
- Up to 2 unmarried children
- Parents of the worker
- In the case of a female worker, mother-in-law and father-in-law may be included.
- The total number of family members eligible is up to 6 (including the worker), with a maximum of two children and one dependent parent (mother or father) considered.
- The benefit covers the worker and his dependents. Dependents include:
- Single Benefit:
- The facility can be availed only once during the worker’s entire service period.
- Priority:
- If applications exceed the available budget in a financial year, workers with the maximum age will be prioritized.
- Application Deadline:
- The last date for receiving applications is 30th September of the respective financial year.
- Additional Condition:
- Where both the worker and his wife are employed as workers in factories/establishments, only one of them will be eligible for this benefit.
Application Process (Online)
- Access the Portal:

- Once verified, the scholarship amount will be disbursed directly to the beneficiary’s bank account, and an SMS notification will be sent.
