Eligibility Criteria
For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:
- Must be a resident of Punjab.
- Must be a Building/Construction Worker (Unorganised Worker).
- Age must be between 18 and 60 years.
- Must have worked at least 90 days in construction work in the past 12 months.
- Monthly income should be ₹15,000/- or below.
- Should not be a member of any other Welfare Fund.
- Should not be enrolled under EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund), NPS (National Pension System), or ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation).
- Should not be an income tax payer.
For Applying to the Welfare Scheme:
- Must be a registered construction worker under the Punjab BOCW Welfare Board.
- Must have acquired skill training from ITIs, Polytechnic Colleges, or other technical training institutions.
Application Process
Online Application (Via CSCs – Common Service Centers)
- Visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or Sewa Kendra.
- Provide your worker registration details and apply online through the portal.
- Submit all required documents along with the application form.
- Receive an acknowledgment receipt for future tracking.
Offline Application Process
- Visit the nearest Sewa Kendra, Registering Officer, or Labour Inspector’s Office.
- Fill out the application form for either:
