This is yet another newer scheme that the MSME Department, Tamil Nadu, has established to support both new and existing Micro, Small, and Medium Manufacturing Enterprises. In this scheme, a 25% subsidy on the cost incurred on the generator, up to 320 KVA capacity, is provided. The maximum subsidy is also capped at ₹5,00,000.

Application Process (Online)

Step 1: Registration

  1. Visit the website of the MSME Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
  2. Click on the “Login / Registration” button in the top ribbon.
  3. Fill all the details as “Name,” “Date of Birth,” “Aadhaar Number,” “Email ID,” and “Mobile Number.”.
  4. Create a new password Password should contain at least 8 characters, 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter and 1 numeric field.
  5. Fill in the captcha and click “Register”.

Step 2: Login

  1. After registration, visit the Login Page and enter the credentials received on your email and mobile number.

Step 3: Application Form Filling

  1. Once logged in, hover over “Schemes” and click on the relevant scheme.
  2. Click on “Apply Online”, then select “New Application”.
  3. Complete the application form, review the information, and agree to the terms and conditions.

Step 4: Document Upload

  1. Hover over “Schemes”, and click “Upload Documents”.
  2. Enter the Application ID and click “Submit”.
  3. Upload the required documents in the specified format and size.

Step 5: Submit Application

  1. Once documents are uploaded, tick the necessary checkboxes and click “Submit Application”.
  2. A confirmation will be sent to your mobile phone.

  1. You can track the status of your application through the portal, which will provide updates via email or SMS.
