- The applicant must be a citizen of India.

- The applicant must be a ward of a registered Construction Worker.
- The construction worker must be registered with the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (PBAOCWWB).
- The applicant must have secured 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rank at the State Level or Regional Level in the Higher Secondary course or equivalent examination.

Obtain the Application Form
- The ward of the construction worker should visit the Office of the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry – 605 009) and obtain the prescribed format of the application form from the concerned authority.
- Alternatively, the applicant can download and print the prescribed format from the Citizen’s Charter (Page No. 94) under “Application for Welfare Benefits”.

- Complete all mandatory fields in the application form.
- Paste a passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required).
- Attach self-attested copies of all mandatory documents.
