The Agriculture Academic Studies Scheme is a State Plan Scheme implemented by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Meghalaya. The objective of the scheme is to sponsor students for a four-year degree course in Agriculture or Horticulture under the State quota in various Agricultural Universities across the country.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
- Students pursuing a four-year degree in Agriculture or Horticulture can apply.
- General & OBC Category: Must have passed 10+2 in Science with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
- SC & ST Category: Must have passed 10+2 in Science with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
- The applicant must qualify for the ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
