The Mukhya Mantri Hamari Betiyan Yojana was launched in 2015-16 by the Rajasthan government under the Secondary Education Department. The scheme provides financial assistance to meritorious girl students to support their education up to the postgraduate level.
Benefits
For Class 11th & 12th Students
- One-time assistance: ₹15,000 per year
- Hostel/Coaching expenses: Up to ₹1,00,000 per year (on submission of bills)
For Graduate & Postgraduate Students
- One-time assistance: ₹25,000 per year
- Hostel/Coaching expenses: Up to ₹2,00,000 per year (on submission of bills)
Eligibility Criteria
- Meritorious girl students from government schools who score at least 75% marks in Class 10 board exams (Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer).
- Categories Covered:
- First & Second Rank Holders in each district (minimum 75% marks).
- BPL Family Students (minimum 75% marks).
- Orphan Girl Students (minimum 75% marks).
- Must continue studies regularly up to the postgraduate level.
Exclusions
- Only one girl child per family is eligible for benefits under this scheme.
