A scholarship scheme by the Student Development Cell (StDC) of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to provide encouragement and support to orphans, wards of parents who died due to Covid-19, wards of Armed Forces, and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed) to pursue education. This is an attempt to give every such child, an opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future through education in AICTE Approved institutions and courses. The family income from all sources should not be more than ₹8,00,000 per annum during the financial year of the application. The candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE Approved institutions and courses at the Degree/Diploma level in regular mode (in 1st /2nd / 3rd /4th year).
Benefits
- Scholarship Amount: ₹50,000 per annum
- Maximum Duration:
- 4 years for Degree students (starting from 1st year).
- 3 years for Diploma students (starting from 1st year).
- Usage of Funds: Covers college fees, purchase of computers, stationery, books, equipment, and software.
- No additional grants for hostel/medical expenses.
- If a student is in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of Degree/Diploma, scholarship duration will be reduced accordingly.
Eligibility
The applicant must belong to one of the following categories:
- Orphans
- Students who lost one or both parents due to Covid-19
- Wards of Armed Forces / Central Paramilitary Forces personnel martyred in action
Additionally:
- Annual family income should be ₹8,00,000 or below.
- Must be studying in AICTE-approved institutions in Degree/Diploma programs.
- Must not be availing any other government scholarship.
Exclusions
- Students already availing any Central / State Govt. / AICTE Sponsored scholarships are not eligible.

Online Application
- Visit the AICTE Official Portal
- Register on the website:
- Fill in personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, Aadhaar Number, and Bank Details.
- Upon successful registration, you will receive an Application ID and Password.
- Login & Fill Application Form:
- Enter academic details.
- Upload required documents.
- Click Final Submit.
- Important Note:
- Only one application per student is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
- Ensure all details are correct before final submission, as modifications are not allowed after submission.
