 The National Green Tribunal (NGT) provides internship opportunities to students pursuing Law (LL.B./ LL.M.), Environmental Studies, and Research programs. The internship is available in two cycles:

  • Summer Internship: Held in March, April, May, and July
  • Winter Internship: Held in November, December, and January

Internship Duration & Slots

  • The standard duration of the internship is 4 weeks (one month).
  • The Competent Authority may alter the timing and duration when necessary.
  • The number of available slots is determined by the National Green Tribunal.

Benefits

Benefit Details
Certificate Issued to the intern upon completion, after evaluating research papers or assessing work done.
Guide Each intern is assigned a mentor/guide for the study during the internship.
Remuneration No remuneration or expenses will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a student pursuing:
    • A three-year or five-year law degree (LL.B.)
    • LL.M. (Master of Laws)
    • Environmental Studies
    • Research studies
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a recognized College/Law School/University in India.
