The National Centre for Communications Security (NCCS) Internship Scheme is designed to engage young scholars with NCCS research activities, allowing mutual learning and exposure. Number of Internship Slots
- The total number of interns shall not exceed 20 at any time.
- Internship categories:
- Category 1: Minimum 60 days (for undergraduate pre-final/final year students).
- Category 2: Minimum 6 months, extendable up to 12 months (for graduates and postgraduates).
Internship Benefits
- Category 1 Interns: ₹7,500/- per month (on a pro-rata basis).
- Category 2 Interns: ₹15,000/- per month (on a pro-rata basis).
- Certificate of Internship upon successful completion.
- Logistics & Support: Workspace, internet access, and infrastructure (laptops not provided).

Category 1 (Undergraduate Students)
- 3rd/4th year students in B.Tech./B.E. (Electronics, Communications, Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with majors in electronics/communications).
- Minimum 60% marks.
- Must be enrolled in a recognized Indian or international university.
Category 2 (Graduate & Postgraduate Students)
- B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc./MCA students (same disciplines as Category 1).
- Minimum 60% marks.
- Graduates from a recognized Indian or international university.
Preference & Relaxations
- Candidates with research experience or higher qualifications may be preferred.
