Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a student with a disability (minimum 40% disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016).
  • Must be pursuing post-matric education (Class 11, 12, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation) in UGC/AICTE recognized institutions.
  • Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.50 lakh per annum.
  • The applicant should not be availing any other government scholarship.
  • Only two children per family are eligible for this scholarship. Exception: If the second child is a twin, both twins can avail the scholarship.
  • If a student fails a class, the scholarship will not be provided for repeating that class.

Exclusions

  • More than two students from the same family cannot avail the scholarship (except in case of twins).
  • Students already availing any other scholarship from the government cannot apply.
  • If a student fails and repeats a class, the scholarship will not be given again for that class.
  • If false documents are submitted, the scholarship amount will be recovered with 15% interest, and the applicant will be blacklisted from future benefits.

Application Process

  2. Click on “New Registration” and read the guidelines.
  3. Accept the Terms & Conditions and click “Continue”.

Step 2: Fill Registration Form

  1. Enter all required details (marked * are compulsory).

  3. Application ID & Password will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Step 3: Login & Complete Application

  1. Visit scholarships.gov.in and click on “Login to Apply”.
  2. Enter Application ID & Password.
  3. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  4. Set a new password and confirm.

Step 4: Fill & Submit Application

  1. Click on “Application Form” and fill in required details.
  2. Upload necessary documents.
  3. Click “Save as Draft” (if incomplete) or “Final Submit”.
