Benefits
Short-Term Fellowship in Indian Institutes (1-3 months)
- Stipend:
- ₹40,000 per month (if host institute is different from the parent institute).
- ₹20,000 per month (if training is in the same institute).
- Travel Allowance as per parent institute rules.
- One-time Contingency Grant: ₹20,000 (for local travel, meetings, etc.).
Short-Term Fellowship in Foreign Institutes (1-3 months)
- Stipend: US $3,000 per month (or equivalent in local currency).
- Travel: Economy class airfare via Air India from the parent to the host institute.
- One-time Contingency Grant:
- ₹30,000 (visa, local travel, health insurance, etc.).
- ₹20,000 (for attending progress review meetings at DHR).
- Conference/Workshop Allowance: US $600 per fellowship.
Eligibility
- Indian citizens working in Indian institutes.
- Educational Qualification:
- M.D./M.S./M.D.S./MBBS/BDS/MVSc./M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.Tech or equivalent.
- Ph.D. in health/biomedical research.
- Experience: Minimum three years as regular faculty in a recognized medical college/institute.
- Age Limit: Up to 55 years as of the last application date.
- Other Conditions:
