Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) launched the “Bharati Scheme for Education – 6th Class to 10th Class” for the academic year to encourage Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh to continue their education. Under this scheme, eligible poor Brahmin student applicants will receive financial assistance for the academic year. This scheme is applicable for the Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts.
Benefits
- Financial Assistance: ₹7,000/- per student for the academic year.
Eligibility Criteria
- The student and their parents must belong to the Brahmin community.
- The student must be studying in Andhra Pradesh.
- The parents/guardians must be residents of Andhra Pradesh.
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.
- Priority will be given to:
- Orphans
- Differently-abled (Physically Handicapped) students
- Children of single parents
- The student must be registered under the Praja Sadhikara Survey (PSS).
- The student must not be receiving benefits from any other government scheme for the same purpose, except Archaka Welfare Trust beneficiaries who are eligible.
Application Process
Online Registration
- Visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation.

- Select Registration under the Bharati Scheme for Education.
- Fill in the application form with details:
- Personal Details: Name, Aadhaar Number, Address, Ration Card Number, Bank Details, etc.

- Receive a reference number for tracking application status.

- Click on “Services” in the menu.
- Select “Know Your Status”.
- Enter the Reference Number, Mobile Number, or Aadhaar Card Number.
- Choose the Financial Year and Fetch Details.
Download Acknowledgment Slip
- Visit the official website and go to the Scheme section.
- Click on “Acknowledgment Slip” under the scheme name.
- Enter the Aadhaar Number and select the Scheme.
- Click on Submit to download the slip.
