Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Kerala.
- The child must have lost either one or both parents.
- The applicant must belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.

- Below ₹20,000 in rural areas (Grama Panchayat).
- Below ₹22,375 in urban areas (Municipality/Corporation).

Offline Application Steps
- Collect the Application Form: Obtain the application form from the school or college.
- Fill the Form: Complete the form with necessary details.
- Submit the Application: Submit the form along with required documents to the head of the Government/Aided Institution (school/college) before 31st October of every year.

- The Head of the Institution verifies the application.
- They submit it through the Kerala Social Security Mission online portal to the Executive Director, Kerala Social Security Mission.
- For Children Below 5 Years:
- The application should be submitted directly to the Executive Director, Kerala Social Security Mission through the respective child welfare committees.
