Eligibility Criteria
For Construction Workers
- The applicant should be engaged in building or construction work.
- The applicant should be registered with the Haryana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB).
- The applicant must have a minimum of one year’s regular membership with the Board.
- The worker must have active membership with the Board.
For Students
- The worker’s child must have scored:
- 85% or more in the 10+2 board examination, OR
- 75% or more in a bachelor’s degree course.
- The student must be admitted as a regular student in the first year of undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional courses.
- Students pursuing commercial pilot training courses and type-rating courses from DGCA-approved institutions are also eligible for reimbursement under this scheme.
- This financial assistance is payable for a maximum of three children of the worker.
- The worker must not have applied for the same class/course again or received similar benefits from any other government department/board/corporation.
Eligible Institutions
- IIMs, IITs, IIITs, AIIMS, NITs, NIFT, NID, National Law Universities, Indian Institute of Hotel Management, and other institutions under the Central Government.
- Universities/institutions approved by UGC, AICTE, PCI, MCI, etc..
- Only institutions located within India are eligible.
Exclusions
- Students who fail their class/course will not be eligible for further assistance.
- Self-employed or employed students are not eligible for benefits under this scheme.
Application Process
Online Registration of Construction Worker Under HBOCWWB
- Visit the Official Website of the Labour Department Haryana.
- Click on the “Building & Ors Const. Workers Welfare Board” link on the homepage.
- Read all instructions, tick the acknowledgment checkbox, and click “Submit”.
- Verify your Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) – Family ID:
- If you do not have a PPP ID, you will be redirected to the PPP Portal to obtain one.
- If you have a Family ID, enter the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) number and click on “Fetch Family Details”.
- Select the family member for registration.
- Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click “Verify”.
- Aadhaar Verification: Provide your Aadhaar number, tick the declaration checkbox, and click “Continue”.
- Complete the Registration Form and submit.
- Login to Your Account: After submitting the registration form, log in using username and password.
- Add Work Experience:
- Workers must add a minimum of 90 days of work experience from the preceding year to qualify for benefits.
