Haryana Labour Welfare Board (HLWB)under the Labour department, Govt of Haryana launched “Financial Assistance for Coaching” scheme on 15 th January 2019 to help the kids of industrial/commercial workers resident in Haryana. It helps the student for entrance examinations of professional courses & UPSC Main /HPSC Main Exams thereby aiding in their academic and professional success.
Benefits
Entry Examinations for Professional Courses: Financial help of ₹20,000 or 75% of the coaching fee (whichever is less).
UPSC and HPSC Main Examinations: Financial help of ₹1,00,000 for coaching to prepare for the main examination after clearing the preliminary examination of UPSC and HPSC.
Eligibility Criteria
For Employees:
- Should be working in an industrial or commercial establishment in Haryana.
- Should be registered with the Haryana Labour Welfare Board.
- Monthly salary should not exceed ₹25,000.
- Must have at least one year of continuous service.
For Students (Children of Workers):
- Must be enrolled in coaching for professional entrance exams or preparing for UPSC/HPSC main exams after passing prelims.
- Must have scored at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Benefits are provided to three girls and two boys of the registered worker.
- Not eligible if the child is self-employed or employed elsewhere.
- If a child is getting a scholarship from the HLWB, they can still avail of this scheme.
For Coaching Institutes:
- Should have provided coaching for at least three years.
- Should have coached at least 300 students.
- Should have been paying GST/service tax for at least three years.
- Should be registered under the Shop & Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 and should have paid the Labour Welfare Fund.
Application Process
Worker Registration Under Haryana Labour Welfare Board:
- Visit the Official Website of the Haryana Labour Welfare Board.
- Click on “Welfare Board Beneficiary Login”.
- For first-time users, click on “Click here”.
- Read and click on “Submit”.
- Check your details via your Parivar Pehchan Patra using Family ID.
- If you have the Family ID, click “Fetch Family Details”.
- If you don’t have Aadhaar, log in by inputting your Aadhaar number on the portal.
- Verify family details through OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
- Fill in the required details, upload a passport-size photo, and submit the form.
- You will receive a confirmation of registration via SMS/email.
Apply for Scheme Benefits:
- Login to the Haryana Labour Welfare Board Portal.
- Enter your username, password, and captcha to log in.
- Click on “Schemes”, select the Financial Assistance for Coaching scheme.
- Fill in the application form, upload the required documents, and submit.
Apply via Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:
- Visit the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
- Register as a new user by entering your Full Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, and Password.
- Verify your mobile and email through OTP.
- Login to the portal and click on ‘Apply for Services’ → ‘View all Available Services’.
- Search for Financial Assistance for Coaching and select it.
- Enter your Family ID (Parivar Pehchan Patra), verify with OTP, and proceed.
- Fill in the details, upload required documents, and submit the application.
