For Death Due to an Accident

- To dependents: ₹5,00,000/- (Paid approximately ₹9,395/- per month for 5 years based on interest rates).
- For funeral expenses: ₹25,000/- (lump sum).
For Death Due to Natural Causes
- Total assistance: ₹2,25,000/-
- To dependents: ₹2,00,000/- (Paid approximately ₹8,736/- per month for 2 years based on interest rates).
- For funeral expenses: ₹25,000/- (lump sum).
For Death at the Workplace
- Total assistance: ₹1,00,000/- (lump sum).
2. Disability Benefits
For 100% Permanent Disability (Accident or Illness)
- Total assistance: ₹4,00,000/-
- Beneficiary will receive ₹9,172/- per month for 4 years (as per interest rates).
For Permanent Disability Between 50% and 99%
- Total assistance: ₹3,00,000/-
- Beneficiary will receive ₹8,953/- per month for 3 years (as per interest rates).
For Permanent Disability Between 26% and 49%
- Total assistance: ₹2,00,000/-
- Beneficiary will receive ₹8,736/- per month for 2 years (as per interest rates).
Eligibility Criteria
- The construction worker must be registered with the Labour Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
- Only family members of the deceased worker can claim death benefits:
- Dependent parents.
- Spouse (husband/wife).
- Daughter.
- Son (only if below 21 years old).
- Suicide cases are not covered under this scheme.
- Deaths due to murder, snakebite, lightning, childbirth, or other natural calamities are considered natural deaths, and benefits are given accordingly.
- Aadhaar authentication of dependents is required for the death benefit claim.
