Chhattisgarh’s Labor Department launched the Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana via the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board on March 4, 2010. It helps pregnant female construction workers financially.
This initiative was renamed “Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana” on May 12, 2022, from “Bhagini Prasuti Sahayata Yojana”.
Benefits
- A lump sum amount of ₹20,000/- will be provided to registered female construction workers after childbirth.
- If the beneficiary dies during childbirth, the full amount is payable to her husband.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.
- The applicant must be a registered construction worker under the Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
- The scheme is only applicable for the first two children.
- The applicant must be registered at least 90 days in advance before applying.
Exclusions
- Spouses of construction workers employed by public or government institutions.
- Construction workers who do not have valid membership with the Board.

- Aadhaar Card Number

- Upload all required documents under Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
- Click Submit to complete registration. A registration ID will be sent to your mobile number and email.
