The “Power Subsidy Scheme”, launched in 2018, is a part of the Information Technology Policy Schemes by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. This scheme aims to support eligible Information Technology (IT) units in Goa by providing them with financial assistance on power charges, thereby promoting Goa as a preferred investment destination for the IT industry.
Benefits

20% subsidy on power charges (excluding duties and taxes)

Maximum limit of ₹5,00,000 per annum per unit, whichever is lower

Subsidy available for a period of 3 years from:

The date of commencement of operations, or
-
The date of notification of this policy (whichever is later)

Note 1: Benefits are subject to budgetary allocation; discontinuation is possible if the fund allocation is exhausted.
Note 2: Only actual expenditure during the policy period is eligible for rebate.

The applicant must be a new or existing IT unit operating in Goa

The applicant must be registered under one of the following:

Units already availing similar financial incentives under other Goa Government policies

Complete the Registration Form, create Login ID and Password, agree to the terms, and submit

A unique registration number will be generated for tracking
