₹5,00,000 under Goa Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme

The “Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme” was launched in 2018 as part of the Information Technology Policy Schemes by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to reimburse the cost of industry-standard quality certifications to eligible IT units operating in Goa, fostering high-quality processes and enhancing global competitiveness.

Benefits

• Reimbursement of the cost of obtaining industry-standard quality certifications

• Maximum financial assistance capped at ₹5,00,000 per unit

• Can be claimed only once for any number of certifications during the policy period

Note:

• Benefits are subject to budgetary allocation. No claim is guaranteed if the allocation is exhausted.

• Applicable for one-time reimbursement only during the policy period.

Eligibility

1. Unit Location:
   Must have operational presence in Goa

2. Eligible Entities:

   • Proprietorship Firm

   • Private Limited Company (under Companies Act, 2013 or equivalent)

   • Public Limited Company (under Companies Act, 2013 or equivalent)

   • Registered Partnership Firm (under Indian Partnership Act, 1932)

   • Limited Liability Partnership (under LLP Act, 2008)

3. Bank Account Requirements:
   Bank accounts of unit/partners/directors should be linked to Aadhaar

4. Eligible Certifications Include:

   • ISO

   • HACCP

   • BIS

   • WHO-GMP

   • ZED

   • TS

   • COPC

   • eSCM

   • Hallmark (approved by Quality Council of India)

   • Any other Govt.-recognized certifications

Exclusions

• Units that already availed similar financial incentives under any other Goa Government policy are not eligible

Application Process

Mode: Online

Step 1: Registration

1. Visit Goa Online Portal

2. Click “Register” (top right corner)

3. Verify Email ID and Mobile Number via OTP

4. Fill the registration form, create login credentials, agree to T&C, and complete registration

Step 2: Login

1. Use login name and password to sign in

2. Enter Captcha and click “Login”

Step 3: Form Filling

1. Go to “Services > IT Services”

2. Select the Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme

3. Fill all mandatory fields in the application form

4. Upload necessary documents

Step 4: Submission

1. Submit the application

2. A unique registration number will be generated for tracking

Note: Applications may be submitted quarterly, bi-annually, or annually after incurring the certification costs.

• D: Date of Application Submission

• D+30 Days: Application Scrutiny

• D+60 Days: Committee Approval

• D+90 Days: Disbursement / Regret Letter
