Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Udyog Uday Yojana: Assistance to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) of SC/ST for Plot Developed by GIDCScheme StatusScheme Status

The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Udyog Uday Yojana, launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to empower SC/ST entrepreneurs and enhance the MSME sector’s global competitiveness. Effective from August 7, 2020 to August 6, 2025, the scheme supports industrial growth through infrastructure and financial aid.

The component “Assistance to MSEs of SC/ST for Plot Developed by GIDC” offers financial assistance to MSEs for GIDC plot development by subsidizing the cost of acquiring essential infrastructure including roads, water supply, and gas connections.

Benefits

  • Quantum of Assistance:

    • Up to 70% of the allotment price of GIDC plots.

    • On payment of 30%, GIDC will hand over possession of the plot and submit the claim for the 70% subsidy to the Commissioner, MSME.

Eligibility

  • Must be a Micro or Small Enterprise (MSE) run by SC/ST entrepreneurs.

  • Applicant must apply for a GIDC-approved estate plot.

  • Maximum plot size should not exceed 1000 Sq. Mt. (exceptions allowed for irregular plots).

Note: An SC/ST enterprise is one where 51% or more shareholding is held by SC/ST entrepreneurs.

Exclusions

  • Trading activities are not eligible for benefits under this scheme.

Application Process

Mode: Online

Registration Process:

  1. Visit the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP).

  2. Click on “New Investor Registration”, fill out the form, and click Submit.

  3. Verify your registered email ID via the verification link.

  4. Upon successful verification, your account will be registered.

Post-Registration Application:

  1. Visit the IFP portal and click on “Login”.

  2. Log in using your email ID and password.

  3. Fill out the application with business and subsidy-related details.

  4. Upload required documents and submit the application.

  • Project Report and Business Plan

  • PAN Card

  • GST Registration (if applicable)
