“Assistance to Individual Handloom Weaver” is a sub-scheme under the “West Bengal Handloom and Khadi Weavers Financial Benefit Scheme 2025”, launched by the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise and Textiles Department, Government of West Bengal on 7th March 2024. The scheme will remain in force for a period of five years.
This sub-scheme aims to provide one-time financial assistance to individual Handloom weavers who are not covered under any Primary Weavers’ Cooperative Society (PWCS).
Benefits

₹5,000 per weaver for repair/renovation of work shed and/or repair/modification of loom and accessories

₹10,000 will be provided for raw material assistance (yarn)

To avail this, yarn must be procured through Tantuja

Mode: Offline (Online may be introduced later as per department notification)

Eligible Individual Weavers must apply in the prescribed format (to be notified by the department)
