The Subsidy Scheme for Establishment of Goat Unit (10+1) is launched by the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation, Government of Gujarat, to support economically poor livestock breeders from the general category in the state.
Under this scheme, beneficiaries are required to purchase 10 female goats and 1 male goat, and contribute 50% of the total unit cost towards expenses like food, water, fodder, shelter, and concentrate feed.

Online Process
Step 1: Visit the I-Khedut Portal: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in
Step 2: Click on “Apply Newly” to submit a new application.
Step 3: Use “Update Application” for corrections.
Step 4: Click “Upload Documents” to attach required files.
Step 5: Confirm the application within 7 days of saving it.
Step 6: After confirming, submit the signed application and documents either by uploading or in person at the designated office.
Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmed application and submit it with all required documents to the nearest veterinary dispensary within 7 days.
