The Skill Development Fee Reimbursement Scheme by the Startup Promotion Cell (SPC) of Goa offers 50% reimbursement of fees (up to ₹50,000/-) for students who successfully complete an SPC-approved technical skill training program in any of the approved domains from a Goan educational institute.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scheme, the following conditions must be met:

For Educational Institutions

  1. Must be an educational institution.
  2. Should be incorporated in Goa or have a registered place of business in Goa.

For Technical Skill Training Programs

The course must be SPC-approved and fall under one of the following domains:

  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Machine Learning (ML)
  • Interaction Design
  • Big Data Analytics
  • Robotics
  • 3D Printing
  • Data Science
  • Drones

    • Born in Goa and studying in Goa or outside.
    • Domiciled in Goa for 10+ years and studying in Goa or outside.
    • Not domiciled in Goa but studying in an educational institute within Goa.

Note: Only expenses incurred after the notification of Goa Startup Policy 2017 and paid digitally are eligible for reimbursement. If digital payment is not feasible, SPC will determine eligibility based on due diligence.

Application Process

Online Application

  1. Visit the official Goa Startup Mission Website.
  2. Verify your Email ID and Mobile Number using OTP.
  3. Register by filling in all required details (Name, Date of Birth, Address, etc.).
  4. Create a Login ID & Password and accept the Terms & Conditions.
  5. Login to the website and navigate to the relevant scheme application.
  6. Fill in the application form, upload necessary documents, and submit.
  7. Save your application reference number for tracking purposes.

Offline Application

  1. Download and print the application form.
  2. Fill out the form and attach all required documents (self-attestation required).
  3. Submit the application to SPC via email at [email protected].

Important: Applications must be submitted within six months of incurring the relevant expenditure.
