Benefits

The scheme provides compensation in the event of an accident, as outlined below:

    • Compensation of Rs. 2 lakhs

  • Disablement:

    • Loss of one limb or one eye: Rs. 1 lakh

    • Loss of two limbs or two eyes: Rs. 2 lakhs

Application Process (Offline)

  1. Submission:

    • The accident-affected farmer or the heir must submit a complete claim proposal along with all the prescribed documents to the concerned Taluka Agriculture Officer within 30 days of the incident.

  2. Preliminary Report:

    • A team comprising the concerned revenue officer, police officer, and Taluka Agriculture Officer will visit the site and submit a report to the Tehsildar within 8 days from the occurrence.

  3. Scrutiny:

    • The Taluka Agriculture Officer will scrutinize the claim proposals and forward the eligible ones to the Tehsildar.

  4. Committee Decision:

    • A committee meeting chaired by the Tehsildar will take a decision within 30 days regarding the assistance. Once approved, the funds will be transferred through ECS to the bank account of the accident-affected farmer or the heir.
