The “Goa State Cultural Award for Institution” is an award scheme the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa came up with, to honor and promote and encourage the role that institutions in general play within art and culture. This award has been an excellent way of elevating the Goan culture as well as propelling young talents while maintaining an active, alive cultural society within the state.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Goan institution or an institution working for the benefit of Goan artists in the field of art and culture.
- The institution must have completed 15 years of existence.
- It must have made extraordinary contributions to art and culture.
- The institution must have a properly constituted managing body with clearly defined powers and duties in its constitution.
- The institution should have a good reputation in the local community.
- Institutions financed by the Central Government, Corporations, or Municipalities are also eligible.
Reservation / Preference / Priority
Preference will be given to institutions involved in cultural education, such as imparting training in music, dance, drama, fine arts, and similar disciplines.
