The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the applicant or organization’s account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Eligibility
General Eligibility Only residents/domiciles of Manipur can apply.
Category (A)
- Groups must have completed 25 years and produced 15 or more remarkable productions.
- Groups should have participated in at least 3-4 National Festivals and 3-4 State Level Programs.
- Applicants must not receive financial assistance from other sources for the same purpose.
Category (B)
- Groups must have completed 3-25 years with the following productions:
- 3-15 years: Minimum of 5 remarkable productions.
- 15-25 years: Minimum of 6-10 remarkable productions.
- Groups must have participated in at least 3-4 State or National Level Programs.
- Applicants must not receive financial assistance from other sources for the same purpose.
Individual Eligibility
- For Visual Art, Research & Book Publication, and Instrument/Costume Making, individuals with proven expertise in their fields can apply.
- Research and publications must focus on Manipuri culture, including translations of old manuscripts and books on art and culture into Manipuri.

A Screening/Selection Committee appointed by the government will select the eligible artists/groups based on the provided criteria.
