Go Green Shramik Scheme 2025 is a very green initiative being taken by Gujarat Building & Other Construction worker’s welfare Board (GBOCWWB) which is a part of Labour Skill Development & Employment department of Govt of Gujarat. This program will give financial help to registered construction workers to buy battery operated two wheelers for Green India Mission. This will allow the workers to switch to green means of transport
Benefits
- Subsidy:
- 50% of the price of the battery-operated two-wheeler or ₹30,000/-, whichever is less.
- Additional Assistance:
- Reimbursement of Registration Fee and Road Tax for the first-time registration of the two-wheeler.
- Complementary Subsidies:
- This scheme provides subsidies in addition to benefits available under other government electric vehicle-related schemes.
- Ease of Purchase:
- After deducting the subsidy amount from the ex-showroom price, the remaining amount will be paid by the construction contractor.
Eligibility Criteria
- Registration:
- Must be a registered construction worker with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board for at least one year.
- Vehicle:
- The worker must purchase a lithium-ion battery high-speed two-wheeler in their own name.
- Driving License:
- The applicant must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.
- Scheme Usage:
- The scheme benefit is available once per registered construction worker.
- Restriction on Selling:
- The worker cannot sell the vehicle for three years after purchasing it.
Application Process
For e-Nirman Card Registration:
- Step 1:First You need to Visit the e-Nirman Portal.
- Step 2: Under the tab ‘Login to Portal’, Please click on ‘Please Register Here’.
- Step 3: Fill in all information which required and click ‘Register’.
- Step 4: Log in using your User ID and Password.
- Step 5: Update your profile by entering the required details and clicking ‘Update’.
- Step 6: Select ‘Electric Two-Wheeler Subsidy Registration’.
- Step 7: Fill in all mandatory fields in the form and upload the required documents.
- Step 8: Agree to the terms & conditions and click ‘Submit’.
- Step 9: Note the application number for tracking your application status.
Tracking Application Status:
- Step 1: Visit the e-Nirman Portal.
- Step 2: Click on ‘View Citizen Application Status’ on the homepage.
- Step 3: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Step 4: Click ‘View Status’ to check your application progress.
Post-Approval Process
- After receiving the approval letter, the beneficiary must finalize the payment and receive the vehicle.
- The worker must provide:
- A photograph with the vehicle.
- A video of themselves driving the vehicle.
