Eligibility
To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Residency:
Must be a native and resident of Kerala. - Disability Requirement:
The applicant should have a disability of 40% or more. - Income Criterion:
The combined annual family income should not exceed ₹1,00,000/-. - Medical Certification:
A Medical Board must certify that the applicant is capable of using the assistive device. - Exclusions:
Persons with Disabilities who have already received assistive devices from agencies, non-governmental organizations, or other government organizations are not eligible to apply under this scheme.

The application can be completed both online and offline, with the online process conducted via the SUNEETHI – Online Service Application Portal.
Registration Process
- Visit the Portal:
Go to the SUNEETHI – Online Service Application Portal. - One-Time Registration:
Click on “One time Registration” and fill in details like Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number, then click on ‘Register’. - Verification:
Enter the verification code received on your mobile number and click on ‘Verify’. - Profile Creation:
Fill in all the mandatory details in the new profile form and click ‘Register’.
Login/Application Process
- Sign In:
After registration, visit the SUNEETHI portal and click on “Citizen Login”. Enter your mobile number (used as the user name) and password, then click “Sign in”. - Update Profile:
Update personal information, contact details, identity cards, and bank details by clicking on the ‘Edit’ button. - Select Scheme:
Once your profile is updated, the list of schemes will appear on the left side of the screen. Select the “Scheme for Providing Assistive Devices to Differently Abled Persons” and click on “Apply Now”. - Submit Application:
